A Pinterest alternative when the pictures have to be yours
Pinterest is excellent at taste and terrible as the only vision board. The pins are other people’s lives. There is nothing to do on Tuesday except scroll.
Keep Pinterest for taste
Use it to research kitchens, streets, wardrobes, colour. Keep a secret board. That is what the product is for. Lift Your Game will not recommend pins or follow creators. It is a poor Pinterest clone and is not trying to be one.
If you want a social feed of interiors and outfits, stay. The alternative is only for people whose Pinterest board is the whole system: saved, never acted on, slightly depressing because the life is not yours.
Shuffles is the same family
Shuffles is Pinterest’s collage maker. Fun, social, still other people’s pictures. A mood, not a practice. If a listicle sent you here from Shuffles, the job is the same: discovery stays on Pinterest. The working board does not.
How to turn a secret board into a working one
Write the goal in a sentence a friend would understand. Then open the secret board and steal notes, not tiles: the time of day, the room, the weather, the clothes. Those notes become prompts. Generate stills, or upload a photo you took. Delete anything that still looks like a stranger’s feed.
Do not bulk-import pins. That recreates the problem. Leave Pinterest as research. One Lift Your Game board is free forever. If the other temptation is a poster, read the Canva alternative. The full grid is on the named comparison.
